While Belmont native Sebastian Junger is a co-owner of the Half King restaurant in New York, Boston native and star of Junger’s book turned into a movie, "The Perfect Storm,"Mark Wahlberg, is a part investor with his brothers in Wahlburgers in Hingham.
Fellow South Shore residents Steven Tyler and Joe Perry of Aerosmith once owned the Mount Blue restaurant in Norwell.
Alas, Cambridge's most famous celebrity chef and Smith graduate, Julia Child, never owned a restaurant!
