Sandeep Singh of Hyannis is one of two winners in Tuesday night's Mega Millions drawing, according to a press release from the Massachusetts State Lottery.
Singh had purchased one of two tickets at AM/PM Convenience in Hyannis, with the winning number 13-37-40-46-52 and Mega Ball 29. The other ticket was purchased in Fresno, California.
Singh claimed his prize at Lottery Headquarters in Braintree on Wednesday, opting for the one-time lump sum payment of approximately $23 million or $16.1 million after taxes.
The Cape Cod man told Massachusetts Lottery officials that he plans to keep his job as a bank teller until December, but will give two-weeks notice to the big box store where he works a second job.
