The home at 15 Marla Ln. caught fire at about 3:40 a.m. Friday, according to the Cape Cod Times.
A girl asleep in an upstairs bedroom smelled smoke and alerted her brother who was also asleep in a second upstairs bedroom.
All four family members were able to get out of the home safely.
Shortly after they made it outside the fire spread to the boy’s bedroom and into the attic. Officials told the Cape Cod Times it appeared that the fire started in the boy’s closet.
Firefighters acted quickly and knocked down the blaze in about 20 minutes.
The home is still structurally sound after the fire, but suffered heavy smoke and water damage.
