Meet Toby, a handsome eight year old Maine coon. He has the long hair typical of his breed and is a medium-sized gray/brown tabby with green eyes.
Toby is a bit reserved at first meeting but quickly relaxes and becomes friendly as soon as he is comfortable with someone. He has lived with other cats but might prefer to be an only cat so he can have more personal attention.
PFC recommends that all house cats be kept indoors, but this is especially important for Toby because he is declawed. Toby is an affectionate cat and will be a good companion for someone in a quiet household.
Visit Toby at our shelter, located at 44 Beagle Lane in Teaticket. Adoption hours are Wednesdays from 4 to 6 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., or by appointment.
