William W. “Wes” Vose was killed in a one-car accident on Woods Hole Road Sunday. Vose was ejected from the car, according to the Falmouth Police Department. Wittneses told police Vose lost control of the car that was traveling well above the speed limit. Vose was alone at the time of the crash.
Vose passing has touched the community of Woods Hole. Vose graduated from Falmouth High School in 2008. Many friends remember Vose for his creativity and acting, according to the Cape Cod Times. Vose starred in “Retreat” at age 11 with Michael Knight; the movie was filmed in Falmouth. Vose also produced and directed a short film presented at the Woods Hole Film Festival in 2006.
A memorial service in honor of Vose will be held Thursday at the Church of the Messiah in Woods Hole at 3 p.m.
