1) Today will start out cloudy, but begin to clear in the late morning, becoming mostly sunny by afternoon. Temperatures in the high 70s and low to mid 80s. Clear overnight, but humid, with temperatures in the high 60s.

2) Celebrate the 100th anniversary of Oreo Cookies at the Falmouth Historical Society, beginning at 10 a.m. Kids can decorate Oreos, and partake in other cookie-based crafts and games. 3) Today is Bastille Day, and those with French ancestry can mark the occasion by researching their genealogy at the Falmouth Public Library. Certified genealogist Joyce Pendery will be on hand to discuss French resources for tracing family trees, based on her own experience following her roots back to the 16th century. 4) Hardcore gardeners will want to attend the Gardeners' Round Table, moderated by WCAI's Mindy Todd, at Highfield Hall today, from 10-11:30 a.m. Members of the Cape Cod Cooperative Extension Master Gardeners will answer questions and provide advice, along with Todd, the host of The Point and an avid gardener. 5) This day in history: the First Crusade captures Jerusalem after a seven-week siege (1099); French revolutionaries storm the Bastille (1789); and Billy the Kid is gunned down by Sheriff Pat Garrett (1881).
