The bus caught fire just before 3 p.m. Wednesday on the Scenic Highway, according to the Cape Cod Times.
The driver told fire officials she heard a pop before the fire started.
The driver quickly pulled off to the side of the road and helped the students off the bus.
Another bus was sent to take the students home.
