Massachusetts State Police Trooper Robert Gilmore was pulled over Monday afternoon after officials received two calls reporting erratic driving around 1:30 p.m., according to the Cape Cod Times.
The second caller told dispatchers a drunk driver was trying to run a female’s car off the road.
Police pulled Gilmore over at Falmouth Toyota on MacArthur Blvd.at 2 p.m.
Gilmore was arrested and refused to take a blood alcohol test.
Police plan to charge Gilmore with one count of drunk driving when he is arraigned in Falmouth District Court this morning.
