Earlier today the NWS issued a flood advisory for communities throughout New England, including Falmouth and the rest of the Cape, with strong thunderstorms barreling across the region, dropping heavy rain in their paths.
Isolated storms could build throughout the day, with the potential for strong wind, hail and localized flash flooding.
Strong storms may continue Thursday, with hail possible from the morning through the early afternoon hours. Currently, Thursday evening and Friday are forecast to be clear, with more heavy weather returning Friday night, and potentially lasting through the weekend.
On Friday and Saturday, any storms that develop could turn severe, with damaging wind, large hail, downpours, and the potential for flooding.
